Easy & Healthy Chicken Shawarma

This Easy, Healthy Chicken Shawarma is incredibly tender and scrumptious! It’s a hit every time we serve this flavorful dish. (It happens to be Whole30 and Paleo approved.)




Garlic Powder

Onion Powder

Ground Turmeric


Salt & Pepper


Olive Oil

All Spice

Chicken Thighs

Make The Dry Rub

Whisk all spices with olive oil into a paste. Set aside. Towel dry the chicken then add to the bowl to marinade.

Time to Roast

Chill the chicken overnight (or for at least 3-4 hours) before roasting in the oven at 400F for 15 minutes.

Slice & Broil

Once cool enough to handle, slice the chicken into thin slices. Return to baking sheet and broil on high for 7-10 minutes.


Serve immediately with pita bread, basmati rice, or hummus.
