Healthy Chicken Piccata Recipe


This healthy and easy Chicken Piccata recipe is intensely flavorful, with sautéd lemons and garlic. It’s a fail-proof Italian chicken recipe that’s an absolute keeper.


Chicken Breast | Flour | Oil Onion | Garlic | Lemons Broth | Capers | Butter Salt & Pepper | Parsley

Directions For Stovetop:

Cover chicken with  plastic wrap.  Pound to even thickness.  Dab off excess moisture.


Sprinkle each piece with a thin layer of salt and pepper on both sides.  Place flour in a shallow dish. Coat in flour, shaking off excess.


Add chicken to hot skillet. Cook for 2-3 min on each side or until no longer pink in center; don't overcook.  Transfer to a separate plate; keep warm.

Add  oil, onion and garlic to same skillet, stir.  Add lemon juice and slices, scraping pan. Cook until lemon slices are nicely browned. Add broth, capers & butter, stirring just until butter melts.

Pour lemon mixture over top & serve.
