Crushed Tomatoes
Ground Beef

Beef Broth
Fresh Oregano

In a Dutch oven or heavy pot, heat olive oil on medium-high. Add onion and garlic then ground beef, kosher salt & pepper. Stir, breaking up ground beef until just cooked through.

Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, basil, and oregano. Stir to combine. Once sauce starts to boil, reduce to a simmer, Cover and continue to simmer 15 minutes.

Add parmesan & stir. Season with salt/pepper if desired. Serve warm over spaghetti noodles or other pasta. Garnish as desired.

No fresh herbs? Substitute with 1TB dry basil & 1 tsy dried oregano.
Ground turkey or ground pork sausage (no casing) are tasty alternatives to beef.
This spaghetti sauce recipe can be frozen in an airtight container for several weeks!
