Jap Chae  (Korean Stir Fry Noodles – GF)

Jap Chae (japchae) is a Korean dish that’s commonly eaten at parties and potlucks. This dish is incredibly savory, bursting with flavor, and quickly becomes a favorite. Simply omit the beef for a wonderful vegetarian dish.

Ingredients

- Beef, bite size strips - Garlic - Granulated Sugar - Soy Sauce - Sesame Oil - Olive Oil - Onion - Carrots - Shiitake Mushrooms - White Mushrooms - Spinach Leaves - Sweet Potato Starch Noodles

Combine beef with half of the minced garlic, sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, & ground black pepper. Stir, cover, and chill in fridge.

Heat onion, carrots, shitake mushrooms, and a pinch of salt until translucent. Add mushrooms, and then spinach until wilted.

Cook beef, Add mixture to the bowl of veggies and cover. Place noodles  boiling water, stirring often, 7-8 minutes or just until noodles are soft.

Mix together the noodles and the beef/veggie mixture  Add remaining garlic, sugar, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Toss well by hand. Sprinkle on toasted sesame seeds and serve warm or at room temp.
