The Best, Crispiest Peach Crisp

This is THE best and crispiest peach crisp you’ll ever sink your teeth into! The step of pre-baking the topping really helps you achieve that sought-after crunchy texture.


For the Filling


Granulated Sugar


Lemon Juice

Ground Cinnamon

Ground Ginger

Ground Nutmeg

For the Topping

All Purpose Flour

Rolled Oats

Brown Sugar


Ground Ginger

Ground Nutmeg

Vanilla Extract

Table Salt



Gently toss peaches and sugar together in a large bowl. Let sit for about 45 minutes, stirring several times, to allow maceration.

In a bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, vanilla and salt. Add butter and nuts and work it into a crumbly mixture.


Scatter the topping onto a baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned.

Drain peaches and reserve 1/4 cup of the juice. Whisk juice with filling ingredients. Transfer to baking dish & add topping. Bake  for 25-40 minutes.



Let peach crisp cool 15 minutes. Serve while it’s warm from the oven.
