kosher salt, more hot sauce, crumbled blue cheese, to taste
Instructions
In a bowl, combine honey, hot sauce, and melted butter; stir to incorporate well and set aside.
Bake meatballs according to package instructions on a foil-lined baking sheet until cooked through and browned. Drain grease.
Place meatballs in slow cooker. Pour sauce over meatballs, stirring to coat. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours to meld flavors together. If desired, add more hot sauce to taste. Keep slow cooker on warm setting and stir occasionally until ready to serve. Garnish with crumbled blue cheese, if desired.
Notes
Feel free to use your favorite type of meatballs; just be sure they are pre-cooked prior to using. If you want to place pre-cooked, frozen meatballs directly into the crockpot without baking first, you can do so. Note that the meatballs might be a bit more greasy and less browned if they're not baked first.
