Pat dry raw shrimp with paper towels. In a bowl, gently combine shrimp with lemon & pepper seasoning and red pepper flakes.
In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil on medium heat. Add garlic and stir 30 seconds just until fragrant, but do not let it brown.
Add the seasoned shrimp, cooking and stirring for 2-3 minutes or just until shrimp turns opaque.
Once it turns opaque, immediately turn the heat off. Stir in the parsley, and add salt and pepper to taste if needed.
Notes
Always pat your raw shrimp dry with paper towels before cooking. This helps the seasoning stick better and ensures that the shrimp will cook evenly.
When combining the shrimp with the lemon pepper seasoning and red pepper flakes, be gentle. You want the shrimp to be coated with the seasoning, but you don't want to damage the delicate flesh.
Use a large nonstick skillet and heat the olive oil on medium heat. This will prevent the shrimp from sticking and the oil from burning.
Garlic can easily burn and become bitter, so make sure to only cook it for about 30 seconds, or until it becomes fragrant. Be careful not to let it brown.
We recommend using 26/30 size shrimp for this recipe. This refers to the number of shrimp per pound and is a good size for this dish.
