Cheesy Bacon Pull-Aparts

These Cheesy Bacon Pull-Aparts are ridiculously easy and scrumptious! They’re a quick and satisfying breakfast, lunch, or dinner the whole family adores.

A Stuffed of Cheesy Bacon

I’m inexplicably stoked to share this Cheesy Bacon Pull-Aparts recipe and can hardly contain it.

Because:

  • Chewy soft, fluffy bread. Carbs = weak in the knees
  • Cheesy cheese, browned to golden perfection
  • Only a handful of ingredients in a handful of minutes.
  • Hubby and kids devour this.
  • Bacon. That’s all.

Of course we add some bright red bell peppers and green onions to the mix, for both vanity and dose of veggies.

I’m not much into canned biscuits, but I’ll occasionally grab a Trader Joe’s version, since theirs has no artificial ingredients nor perservatives. {TJ’s, Immaculate, and Annie’s make healthier refrigerated biscuits.}

Here’s where it gets happy, jump-in-air, big-smiles good.

Liberally sprinkle on the toppings. You can get all creative and let your imagination run wild and free. We were feelin’ the cheese, bacon, and onions… it can’t be anything but awesome.

You can make it meatless sans the bacon, but do freely shower on the cheese. Your peeps will thank you.

You’ll end up with a bubbly, fluffy, airy, chewy marvel. Carb lovers will go crazy. Cheese addicts will start cheering. And bacon fans will flip.

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You decide.

There’s no bad time of day to serve up these Cheesy Bacon Pull-Aparts. Except maybe when you’re home alone with it at 2pm and haven’t eaten all day.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Servings: 10 servings
Author: Amy Dong

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ tsp table salt
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (I use Trader Joe's all-natural), 16 ounce
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar or cheddar-jack cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup chopped red bell peppers
  • 8 slices thick bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced green onions

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F with rack on lower middle position. Grease a 9x13 glass or ceramic baking pan and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper to combine well. Set aside.
  • Open can of biscuits, separate the biscuits, and cut each biscuit into quarters. Place biscuit quarters into bowl of egg mixture and toss to coat well. Transfer into prepared baking dish, evenly in a single layer. Top with cheese, bell peppers, and bacon. Bake 25-35 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden (tent loosely with foil during last 10 minutes of baking, if cheese starts browning too quickly.)
  • Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.

All the pictures are not necessary … really annoying when printing…. just give the recipe!

Doreen, does your device/computer show the “print recipe” button right next to the recipe? If you click that, it gives you a pop-up window that is just a recipe box with on small photo only. Hope that helps 🙂
