5-Minute Strawberry Margaritas are made with ripe, fresh strawberries and a few simple ingredients. It comes together in a jiffy for a party-perfect drink!
Apparently, I’m still making up for all the seasons of strawberry picking we missed. I mean, you only get a 2-week window for peak picking and all.
To make up for the fruity loss, I now check every summer for updates from our local family owned berry farm. [We shall not miss strawberry season ever again.]
Last weekend, we got up too early for a Saturday morning and ushered the still-breakfasting Littles into the car for our strawberry farm party.
By the way…you know how the picture in our heads →→ false?
Picture in my head: Our entire family frolicking care-free in the strawberry fields, with woven picnic baskets in hand, and singing Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Harmonizing our parts perfectly. While dancing and flashing our pearly whites.
Reality: Biggest Little refused to wake up, choosing stay in bed instead. We got pricked and scratched up by thorns (do strawberry bushes even have thorns?) The Littles who joined us declared themselves done after 15 minutes. Something about it being too hot, yada yada. Toss in some whining and arguing.
My wacky self would happily gather the crew and do it all over again. Every year.
Because fresh-picked strawberries.
These 5-minute strawberry margaritas are worth it all.
Whether you’re rolling solo on the porch or hanging with friends, they’ll be an instant hit along with this best strawberry daiquiri.

5-Minute Strawberry Margaritas
Ingredients
- 1 lb ripe, sweet strawberries, washed and hulled
- 1 cup tequila blanco
- ⅔ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ cup agave, more if your berries are less sweet
- ½ cup Cointreau or other orange liqueur
Instructions
- In a blender, add all ingredients and blend until smooth. Mixture will be thick and a bit frothy. Transfer to a small pitcher and chill until ready to serve. Right before serving, fill 4 glasses with ice and evenly distribute margarita mixture into glasses.
Notes
For salt-rimmed glasses, pour kosher salt in a shallow small plate. Moisten rims of glasses with lime juice and dip into the salt.
For a virgin version, simply omit the alcohol. Kids love it.
