  • Crock Pot Whole Chicken is even better than store bought rotisserie chickens! It’s fall-off-the-bone tender, juicy, and supremely flavorful. The seasoning is spectacular. ❤️❤️❤️ 💾 Save this post: Ingredients Lists 👇 1 large onion, chopped 5-6 lbs chicken, whole 4 tsp salt 2 tsp smoked paprika 1 ½ tsp garlic powder 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp thyme 1 tsp white pepper ¼ tsp black pepper Instructions Prepare Chicken: Place chopped onion on bottom slow cooker. Remove giblets from chicken and towel dry entire chicken well, both inside and out – this step is important to ensure chicken doesn’t turn out “watery.” Using your fingers, gently pry the skin away from the chicken all around, so you’ll be able to season chicken underneath skin. Combine Spices (can be done in advance:) In a small bowl, combine all the spices, from salt to black pepper. Mix well. Use your hands to evenly spread two-thirds of the spice mixture onto chicken, underneath the skin. Be sure to include all areas of chicken (legs, back, thighs, etc.) Use remaining spice mixture to spread on top of skin. Place seasoned chicken on top of chopped onion in slow cooker. Cover and keep chilled overnight. Cook: When ready to cook, turn slow cooker on Low for 5-6 hours only.   • This One Pot Gnocchi with Spinach and Chicken is a meal in one! This comforting gnocchi recipe turns out tender and flavorful. The creamy sauce is irresistible. ❤❤❤ 💾 Save this post: Ingredients List 👇 2 TB salted butter 2 TB all purpose flour 1 ½ cups whole milk 1 cup regular chicken broth ½ tsp nutmeg 1 tsp onion powder 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 package, 8 oz thinly sliced baby bella mushrooms 1 lb shredded rotisserie chicken 1 17.5 oz package potato gnocchi (usually found in the dry pasta aisle; not frozen) 2 cups baby spinach leaves ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper Instructions Preheat oven to 425F with rack on upper middle position. In a deep/large and oven-proof skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk constantly for 3 minutes until a smooth roux is formed. Whisk in milk and chicken broth until incorporated. Simmer and whisk constantly until slightly thickened, 5 minutes. Whisk in nutmeg, onion powder, garlic, and kosher salt/ground pepper to taste. Add shredded chicken, mushrooms, uncooked gnocchi, and spinach to the mixture. Stir gently until well coated through, 30 seconds. Sprinkle parmesan evenly over the top and bake in oven about 15-20 minutes or until sauce is bubbly at around the edges and gnocchi is tender. If desired, broil 2-3 minutes to further brown the top. Serve with a loaf of French or Italian bread to eat up any leftover sauce. ❤️❤️❤️ 💾 Save this post: Ingredients List 👇 2 TB olive oil 1 onion, chopped 4 garlic cloves, minced 1 lb Italian sausage, bulk, no casings 1 16 oz package potato gnocchi (from refrigerated or pasta aisle) 1 14.5 oz can Italian flavored diced tomatoes with juices (do not drain) ¼ cup low sodium chicken broth 4 cups fresh baby spinach leaves ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese ½ cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese Instructions In a large nonstick skillet, add oil and heat over medium high until hot. Add onion and garlic and stir/cook until fragrant, 30 seconds. Add sausage; stir and break it up into pieces, until nicely browned. Don't drain. Add uncooked gnocchi. Stir 1 min, gently breaking up any clumps. Stir in tomatoes with juices and chicken broth. Cover and cook on medium heat, 5 min, or just until gnocchi is fluffy and cooked through. Turn off heat. Add spinach and pepper. Stir until spinach leaves are wilted. Sprinkle with cheeses and cover for 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melty. Simple, fresh ingredients come together to make the perfect weeknight dinner that will have you gladly ditching takeout! ❤✨❤ 💾 Save this post: Ingredients List 👇 ½ cup soy sauce, or Tamari* ½ cup sugar 2 TB apple cider vinegar 3 garlic cloves, minced 1 TB ginger, freshly grated 1 TB cornstarch ⅛ tsp red pepper flakes 3 strip steaks, 10-12 oz each, 1 inch thick 2 TB vegetable oil 2 scallions, sliced thin sesame seeds for garnish Instructions In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and pepper flakes. Pat steaks dry with paper towels. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium high heat until smoking. Add steaks and cook just until well browned, 3-5 min per side. Transfer to plate and tent with foil at least 5 min. Wipe out skillet and add soy sauce mixture. Simmer over medium heat until sauce is thickened, 2 min. Slice steaks thin against the grain and transfer to platter.
