  • Easy Jamaican Jerk Chicken Recipe for a deliciously simple version of Caribbean style roast chicken. This super tender, flavorful jerk chicken will quickly become a dinner favorite. ❤️❤️❤️ 🍁💾 Save this post: Ingredients Lists 👇🍁 10 chicken legs ⅓ cup olive oil 2 TB light brown sugar, packed 1 TB dried thyme 2 tsp ground allspice 2 tsp smoked paprika ¼ – ½ tsp cinnamon 1 tsp ground ginger 1 tsp ground cloves 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 2 ¼ tsp kosher salt ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper Instructions Preheat oven to 425F with rack on lower middle position. In a bowl, combine all remaining ingredients to form a spice rub/paste mixture. Set aside. Use paper towels to thoroughly dry chicken legs of excess moisture. Use fork to poke holes on all sides of chicken legs. Evenly spread the rub mixture underneath the skin of chicken legs – use clean hands to really push the mixture as far underneath skin as you can – as well as on top of skin. Place chicken on large rimmed/foil-lined baking sheet, with space in between each piece. For smaller-sized chicken legs, bake about 40 minutes; for larger-sized chicken legs, bake about 50 minutes or until nicely browned. Serve immediately, with drippings from baking pan.   • These sweet potato fries are baked to crispy perfection and seasoned with bold flavors you’ll adore❤️✨❤️ 💾 Save this post: Ingredients Lists 👇 1 lb sweet potatoes, peeled or unpeeled 2 TB olive oil 2 tsp cornstarch ½ tsp onion powder ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp smoked paprika ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper Optional: freshly chopped parsley or chives, for garnish Instructions Wash and dry potatoes. Use a sharp knife to slice potatoes into even ¼” strips. Immerse the potatoes into a large bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight. Preheat oven to 425F, and position an oven rack in the middle position. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside. Drain the potatoes, and use paper towels or clean absorbent cloths to pat dry all excess moisture. In a large sealable bag, add the potatoes. Drizzle evenly with olive oil, and toss to coat evenly. Add the cornstarch, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss again until the potatoes are evenly coated with the seasonings. Arrange the potatoes in a single layer on the lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between them. Bake 15 minutes. Quickly remove the baking sheet from the oven, closing the door to preserve heat, and use tongs or a spatula to flip each fry over. Bake another 7-10 minutes or until fries are browned at the tips. Cool at room temperature for 2 minutes to help them crisp up. Serve warm.
